Brambles Care Home is committed to offering quality services for residents, provided by caring, competent, well trained staff in a homely atmosphere.

Fully trained carers

We make every effort to ensure that all employees are competent in their work and strive to achieve excellence in the quality of the care they bring to the residents. Training and development is an ongoing process.
In addition, senior carers are required to achieve NVQ Care level 3 and carers are required to achieve NVQ Care level 2. A range of other certified training, such as first aid, safe handling of medication, food hygiene, fire safety, and moving and handling is provided for all staff and forms part of their ongoing training and development activity.
Adequate, suitable training and qualified staff will be on duty in the home at all times. Staffing numbers depend on the number of residents and their care needs.

Rachel Bailey – The manager of the home
Rachel Bailey now has over 20 years of experience and the care home has been registered for 29 years. She has been a deputy manager of Westcliff Lodge for 5 years, a deputy manager for a year and a half at Brambles Care Home, and is now the manager. She has completed her NVQ level 5 and registered manager course. The home is a member of S.E.C.H.A and is registered for 29 service users with 27 bedrooms by the CQC. It is within walking distance of the post office, bus stops, Chalkwell Park, and c2c train line to Fenchurch Street and Chalkwell Beach.
